Brief Biography of Pouria Nazemi   I was born in 1978 in Tehran. I passed my primary educations at Omat, Razi and Dr.Mahmoud Afshar schools and studied in Atomic Energy Organization High School and finished it in 1996. In that year I started to study Pure Mathematics in Ferdowsi University of Mashhad and got my Bachelor of Science degree of  it.   I’ve loved stars and space since I remember. In my childhood I I read anything about astronomy and passed hours with my sister to observe sky. My father’s great library and his interest to history and also my sister, Nazila_ Studies in ancient Persian languages and current history of Iran_ made history and mythology part of my interests and combine that with astronomy led me to “Archeoastronmy”  In University of Mashhad I joined a group of active students who tried to make some fundamental changes in Math. Faculty’s atmosphere. Our activity started with some seminars about cultural and science subjects, presented with one of us each week and only 4 or 5 students joined us. In the following month those activities extended and we funded “Math Faculty Scientific and cultural Focus” it is really a great job done with us. This center has some committees and organized many activities from scientific seminars to scientific tours and cultural activities and publishing 3 magazines there. I used the power of this new but powerful society for astronomy and arranged a tour to Isfahan for last millennium total solar eclipse in 1999. in 1999 and 2000 I continued my studies in Tehran Sh.Beheshti University and Elm-o-Sanat university and I joined or to join a group of students who cooperated with Science and Technology Ministry to organize some active cultural centers in all universities of Iran in different branches like Music, Theater, Cinema, Poem and literature and social & cultural activity. So I joined them as a member of high decision and formulation committee for those new structures and I also joined this small group to hold beginning conference for each branch association. Also I was also selected as managers of the first national submit of social & cultural students societies. My friends and I held it and funded the association for this branch in all universities of Iran. We hosted many scientific and cultural people in that gathering. People like Dr.Mostafa Moien (Former reformist minister of Science and Technology), Dr.Masdjed Jamei (Former reformist minister of culture and Islamic guides), Pouran Derekhshande (director) Dr. Alireza Beheshti (Islamic philosophy specialist) , many societies like Red Crescent (Helal-e-Ahmar) organization of Iran and  Human Rights association. After finishing this great and affective work I came backed  Mashhad and I got an opportunity to turn to my main interest. I published an astronomy magazine and arranged an amateur astronomy group in Mashhad that is active in many areas in astronomy such as observing meteor showers, young crescents and generalize astronomy We Published “Roushanan” and also with great help of M.Mehdi Motiee (member of Iranian Astronomy Society – Amateur Committee) we fund a course on general astronomy. Also with valuable supports of Dr.Edalati (Astronomy Profeesor of Ferdowsi University who passed away in 2003) we arranged some star party and observing night in one far region of Khorasan province called Robat Sang. This village has one high school and they don’t have good sources and we tried to reach them some sources. In association with Nojum Magazine and Mt.Willson observatory society we present them a small telescope to support growing astronomy there. Before I finished my studies in Mashad I had some corporation with Nojum Magazine So when I returned to Tehran Babak. A.Tafreshi invite me to join Nojum Magazine and I accept it. After few years we launched new version of the magazine website and I served as editor in it. During this time I was writing for some other media and Siavash Safarian Pour (Producer and Director) invite me to join the scientific team of ASEMAN_E_SHAB (Night Sky) astronomical live show and I accept it and since 2003 I am member of scientific team of this TV program of Channel 4 IRIB. In 2003 Jam-e-Jam daily newspaper invites me as science editor and science there I worked in Jam-e-Jam and since 2006 I served as head of science service and senior science editor of Jam-e-Jam. Also since 2002 I joined to the scientific team of Zaferaniye educational observatory and had presented some courses there on General Astronomy, Extra solar planets and History of Astronomy and also in 2003 I was solar system teacher of Iran national astronomy Olympiad team. In 2005 I joined to Astronomy Society of Iran – Amateur Committee and worked as head of general public committee of it. In these times I had some interesting experiences like started internet Interview in Jam-e-Jam and Nojum. I tried to change our media role as translator of scientific news to first publisher of it. My interviews with Dr. Richard Roberts (who discovered Habits), Dr. Firouz Naderi (JPL Mars program director), Dr. Mario Livo (Hubble Space Telescope Institute science manager), Dr. Baharm Mobasher (Who discovered most distance galaxy in HUDF), Anousheh Ansari (first woman and Iranian space tourist) done with this Idea. In 2006 when Anousheh Ansari tri to open new windows to people with her space travel, I introduce her ti Iranian people with some articles that published in Nojum and Jam-e-Jam since 2004 and also I had an exclusive interview with her for Nojum and another on for IRIB 4 and help people to reach to correct data about space and er trip. In 2005 I was marriage with Marjan and began new chapter of my life. I loved Music and specially tradition music of Iran and playing Tar and Se-Tar. Also love investigation about unusual scientific files and enigmas of history of Astronomy. During 2004 Venus Transit I published a result of research in Nojum, that shown that this is possible that Ebn-e-Sina (Avicenna) observed Venus transit in his time. All of these works is a part of my activity in different area but this is onlay beginning of my journey …   In 2006 my article about challenges of Pope Benedict XVI with modern science won a 2nd place for best science writing from 13th Iranian National Press Festival. In this festival no one selected as a 1st place.   since 2007 I was start my activity as west Asia regional coordinator of Astronomers Without Borders (AWB)
